Thats cool, I actually perfer the Jolly Rogers to the Bilge Pumps because their harmonies are stronger. The most recent Bilge Pumps cd was...well... not their best however the Jolly Rogers most recent offering were pretty good.

On a different note, You should check out Gypsy Jazz. Especially Django Reinhart. Hey plays with a violin player named Stephane Grapelli. That is some hot stuff. You all may dig it.

Oh, I am aware that blades nick in combat, I have been doing it for the better part of 7 years. However compared to other blades I have used, this blade held up like playdoh. I have two starfires that have their fair share of battle scars but they are some of the best weapons I have ever used. Now if yours is still together and looks lovely, more power to you. However I just want to warn people from my experience that this sword is not the highest quality I have found. Thank you for the links to the other sites, I will check them out.

Actually I want to warn EVERYONE away from this sword if you plan to do any stage combat. I bought it and it was fine for a couple of fights but the blade ended up turning into a saw blade and the cage broke. So unless you are using it only for the purpose of being pretty, i wouldnt recommend this sword at all.

Yeah, I am looking for fight quality. I have been checking out Badger Blades and Popinj(now) but anyone have any others?

Ok so after emailing Old Dominion forge and being told that they are not taking sword orders due to a two year back-order log, What else do you have? I mean they look like good swords but logisitcally I dont want to wait two years before I get another cutlass. What I need this cutlass for is not just some pretty show piece. I actually need a functional cutlass that I cant fight with. I am in a stage combat group that requires a high quality sword for functional use. Any ideas?

Well, Since I have a B.A. in Music, I play primarily the guitar. I also play clarinet. But as for knowing how to play, I have the sax, flute, trombone, piano, Bass guitar, drums/percussion, violin, viola, cello, upright bass, tuba, trumpet. Now take into consideration I know how to play them not play them well. What can I say, I love music.
