Another year gone by, (lurking...*smacks hand* bad pirate!) and another excuse for Meg to create and wear more garb! Halloween 2007 Pumpkins!!! (Ack! Kind of big....ah well... ^^; ) Until next year, mates....

I'd love to dress up for my picture when I get my license (I just need a few more hours' practice and then I can get it in April)! However, I don't think that my parents or the DMV would be very amused.

A very late Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all! Eh, and I guess as a side, I'll stick this here: Apparently my grandmother on my Mom's side is half Irish....sooo I'm Irish and German. ^^;

Again, I have been lurking... ^^; Though, I just browsed through many pictures and I must say, everyone looks awesome in garb!!! Well, I guess I'm speaking up again to show off what I've been sewing in the catigory of "pirate garb". I wanted to make something for Halloween, but I was afraid that I wouldn't have time (Says the seamstress who sews some projects in less than two weeks) so I threw together some of the stuff I had in order to make my pirate character's costume: (excuse the setting. I didn't have a "photographer".) But then I was able to sew this: ^^; So, I suppose I went from 'Pirate' to 'Wench'. P.S. Just a little something I wanted to share from my September trip to Disneyland:

Aye, I needed that...my sister (who took us...and didn't dress up, curse her *Lol*) was calling me non-stop...plus, I had to call my folks back home to tell them that we were going to be on tv and to tape it... ^^;

Hello I keep lurking in and out of the Pyracy Pub, but I'm back for a short while! ^^; I just thought that I'd be nice enough to post some pictures of my best friend and myself in our pirate garb before we went to the midnight showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (I'm the Capt'n Jack-ish looking one). And here we are about 10 minutes before the movie, 11:50 p.m.! (I played with the picture a little, making it more antique looking.)

I'm currently trying to finish a corset. I've already made one for a friend (plus a skirt) so it shouldn't be too difficult. I just need to find the time to do it...I'm a lazy bum and procrastinate a lot. After that I need to make a couple of shirts, one for said friend and myself (so I can give the one that my sister let me borrow for my first pirate costume, Jack, in 2003...it was used for my Frodo costume in 2004 and if I don't get the other shirt made, might be used for another Jack costume). Eventually, I would like to make a hat similar to Will Turner's at the end of CotBP but I'd have to go over to the ostridge farm to get a feather.

'Course it isn't! *Lol* It's ok...my family's like that too...my Aunt has started to tell everyone that I'm going to marry Johhny...heh, I'm sure that every sane girl wants that.

Thank you! He and my mom actually came home with that one day. He loves pirates and movies and books having to do with them...*Lol* I raised him well...

My brother and meself on Halloween. I sewed that skirt in three days...after screwing up the first time...but that was the second skirt that I made. I also sewed the corset thingy...it didn't feel like one...not that I know what a corset feels like... ^^; *coughs* Er, yea. Um, I wore that all day...to bowling (yes, I did bowl in it), to the dentist (I got to go to the dentist on Halloween...yippie...everyone was asking if I wore that kind of stuff everyday, My response? "This is just for Halloween, but if I could wear it everyday..."), and to the store to get my pumpkin. I love Halloween!
