  5. Well so Nassau was more less built up then shown given the Pirates were not known as great builders, 1% generally weren't know as builders and creators more like spenders and ripper downs. Think Sturges when the bikers come for there party, LW

Here one thing they all seem to get wrong the Ship's pilot Wheel when it was first used, developed in 1715 by the English no clue when the French started using them, By 1760 Flintlock Gunlocks were sued by both navies on there Cannons, New tech is slow getting down to the common person in this case the Merchants Ships, it cost alot to refits boats with the new system, Black Flag gives a idea what type of buildings might be around in New Providence, Woode Rogers how he shown in both of these series I know it's not historical but how much on the Mark is it, Governor Spottswood I think was spot on about the general feeling about Pirates and the 1718 Pardon among the colonies at least, LW
  7. Your right about the holes in history it's hard to pin stuff down when one is trying to write about a period a getting it write, I thought under George II his reforms cleaned up alot of Naval problems. LW

This is a YA book series that I want to write blame Harry Potter Play, I know in the 18th Century that a 12 to 14 year old person is consider an Adult, In that timeframe if person was old enough to be hanged then that person old enough to drink. Treasure Island was original written for young boys, but today young boys swear and seen more acts of bloody murder then in the Golden Age of Piracy, LW
  9. Hi I was wondering how clean were they in the 18th Century, I mean they didn't take Baths and Showers as well know it, more like sponge baths. They didn't have Smell Wells and body washes of 21th Century what did they use?, I also know that Medicne of that era was very painful due to the simple fact they couldn't knock out the person operataing on, LW
  10. Um Nassau was a Boom town in 1715 to 1718 most of the people living there weren't 1%, they made money off the Pirates like Deadwood in the 19th Century America. This is what I know of Nassau at the time it was full of common people who were sick class system or came to get rich quick, the first group worried the English at least back home mostly the Wigs what about an honest historical showing for the Pirates which is better AC Black Flag or Black Sails?, LW

Ok Folks I would some help in creating this Fantasy world in Cavalier timeframe 1620 to 1690, In the middle of Sky level of this Airworld is a Port Royal like Landmass is were the Breathen of Sky is based led by Henry Rogers, based on Henry Morgan, An Ancient Empire of God Kings like Atlantis they tried to be Gods and caused the Landmasses to take to the Air and orbit around the Core in different levels in the sky, LW

Hi folks I'm currently working on a Airworld for D&D 5th RPG but it could be a Standard Fantasy world, it's a world were the Landmasses are flying in the in orbit around the core at different levels in the Air. The Wooden Ships are made out of Timber that floats in the Air due to the Sap in the Wood. War and Trade are done in the Air since there is no Standard Landmasses, LW

Hi you know I was reading a book on the corupt practices of BP and I got thinking how Wallstreet and the Corperations seem to behave like Pirates, There is a bit in the movie Hook were the Grown up Peter is back in England were his kids are telling the Old Lady Wendy what there Dad's Job is and she repiles (So Peter you became a Pirate), If you want to know about Wallstreet's Free Market ways think Nassu under the Pirate rule, LW

I know that BBC Musketeers isn't very historical given the fact that Cardinal Richelieu is shown as a bad guy, I wanted to use Buccaneers timeframe which is 1660 to 1690 Henry Avery was a Pirate and a Buccaneer. This why Charles II had to rely on them so much, Cromwell Navy as good but Restoration was bad and corrupt. The Dutch at the time had the very good Navy so good England copied it when Dutch William took over, LW

  21. That Pirate republic was mostly full of lower class people who wanted a better life then the one back home, the show also has a timeline of what I called miss happenings that caused the thwarted plans of most of the characters and the doom of the republic. LW
  22. Hi I would create a 17th Century Furry comic, the main character is based on Henry Morgan. I never wrote a comic before, but I need an Artist who is good and very cheap. LW
  23. This was age of Swashbucklers as well, also Gunlocks on firearms how long before the likes of Snaplocks and Flintlocks turn up on common firearms?, Snaplocks were used in the English Civil War, But in the BBC Musketeer's TV series shown then using Matchlock Musket. LW
