  1. We use this at work to support telephone cables: http://www.stanleysupplyservices.com/product-group.aspx?id=9111. It's 1/2 wide and stronger than a zip tie. It comes in a roll so it could be cut (with good scissors) to length and the ends can be easily trimmed. I don't know how the price would compare to regular zip ties but it might be better for custom corsets.
  2. I just started reading "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" in preparation of our next festival. We will be going to the Sherwood Forest Faire in Texas this month. It's a free kindle download, I have the Kindle app on my phone. http://www.amazon.com/Merry-Adventures-Robin-Hood-ebook/dp/B000JMKWWA/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1328368787&sr=1-1
  3. I guess they are still around: http://www.ratfink.com/?gclid=CJ2U79z2gq0CFcVgTAodm1nETQ
  4. Kinda' reminds me of the "Rat Fink" stickers from the '60s
  5. Do these benches have storage under the seat? Like a piano bench? The pic of the plate seems ( t' me untrained eye) seems to have space where the leg connects to the top.
  6. Thanks for the discussion! Ye've added some movies I've not seen and added to me lists.
  7. I zip tied it and asked at the gate, no one was checking. Had a great time, only whacked my wife & daughter in the legs once each. Sitting was a problem, my belt did not lend itself to moving the sword around for comfort. I may be looking towards a baldric in the near future.
  8. Oh yeah, don't forget about Project Gutenburg! http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/search.html/?default_prefix=titles&sort_order=release_date&query=pirate
  9. I was reading another forum here and I did a Google Books search for the title they were discussing. That search came up empty but trigger'd me ol' feeble brain to search the free history section for the key word "pirate". Here's a link, 10 pages with descriptions of FREE e-books. http://books.google....brr=4&scoring=1 These can be read on a computer or most book readers and if you have an Android smart phone you can download Google Books from the market (free).
  10. That's a good looking website mate, I'll be back for some of those charts.
  11. Most pop-up blockers have an exception list. Just add pyracy.com to the pop-ups ok section.
  12. Kind sir, my deepest apologies! Unbeknownst ta' me my wench has purloined fabric & patterns to make a set of slops fer me. I said "Well get on with it then!" (to meself, from another room). Not sure I'm happy with the color she choose, but she says "this way we'll match" like tha' was something I wanted.... Any way, don't hold them but if you still have them around mid-November repost them.
  13. I'm liking the second pair (French fly... are ye japanese? j/k). Are they still available? I'm gonna go check the treasure chest, I may have ta' wait for another raid (payday).
  14. Like they treated it in days of old: http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/acid_reflux.html
