  • Birthday 11/16/1964
  1. We'll be there in full garb. Whats the rule on weapons? Does anyone know.
  2. We'll be at the fair for pirate weekend, but, will not be camping. Does everyone want to meet at the pub again. It worked out rather well last time. Looking forward to seeing everyone there......... The Capt.
  3. Ohhhhhhhhh lets see.. It's a bit of a list Stynky Tudor Pirate Molly Mad Woman Cheryl and Bill Sealegs Constance Madam Mccaw Crimson Corsair Hawkyns Gute Morgan Blenderwench Zorg Duncan MacGuyver A pretty good bit more, whose names escape me at the moment, but, what do you expect from an old capt like me......
  4. To all me shipmates here.... I have a Nitro 640 Bass Boat that I'm putting up for sale. This boat is fully loaded. 60hp mercury, 85 thrust trolling motor, two depthfinders, and a brand new trailer to boot. Runs like a dream and is a pure joy to fish out of. Very easy to maintain. Comes with custom cover and is ready to go. Drop the old capt. a line if anyone is interested and I guarentee you'll be happy with the deal....
  5. I cannot imagine the hours that go in to building one of these. They are really cool......
  6. Ok shipmates... We are looking at June. The kiddies will be out of school and it will be warm enough to swim. So, if your interested in a cool swim and some good food off the grill, let the Capt. know which Saturday in June is good for you. We'll have everything ready. The more the merrier. Pass the word and let me know what you think... Flint
  7. For any and all who would like..... Katey and I want to extend an open invitation to any and all who would like to get together for a saturday. We'lll have some food and some drink and we can all catch up so to speak..... Anyone interested, drop us a line on what would be the best dates for all of you. We will try to pick the saturday that the most folks can attend.... See you .... Flint
  8. Katey and meself are going to try our hardest to attend this. Everything depends on a babysitter. Please keeep us up to date on the event. We cannot wait to see all of you. Sounds like it's going to be a grand time.
  9. Has anyone got any recent updates on what is happening with the Hunley. ie... where are they with the restoration, has any new evidenced come to light on why she sank, or any definte theory why she sank, or any other new info available. Please update the ole Capt. if you have any current news ......
  10. Just read in the paper here, that the sequel to Peter Pan is getting under way and that the writer has been chosen. Apparently there was a story contest of sorts to see who or even if anyone could be found to write the show. Alas, a person was found and she along with the production company have started on the story for the movie. Has anyone else heard anything about this....... The Capt.
  11. Thanks for the info on the book Captured.... I'll be keeping an eye out for it . It sounds interesting.....
  12. BlackJohn.. never let it be said, that you are not a twisted individual... but then, thats what we love about you... As I have said before about aging any leather, wear it, use it and let time take its course. Keep it oiled and clean and nature will do the rest. If you choose to intentionally distress the leather, it will look that way. If you simply wear it and keep it clean, you will be amazed at how it will become soft and flexible. The look will be beautiful, while getting that broken in look. I have done a lot of work with leather and have seen it ruined by those who can't wait for it to age naturally. Trust me on this, let time and use take care of the look. It is important to treat leather well and it will last you a long long time.
  13. Well it seems to me there are two questions here.. What do you like.... and whats the first thing you notice.. I do not see how anyone can notice anything other than physical stuff on first sight... So as far as first notice... Alive breathing and is female breast rear... hips and legs As far as what i like Alive... breathing... and female.... Although with Fare Katey by my side, I get a whole lot more also ( great rear.. large br..... oops.. just realized she is standing over me and is seeing this. ) oh well.. it's off to the docks for a while..............
  14. For pirate re-enacting, I usually wear a pair of pants that have a little room in them. They feel good with the outfit and look good with the outfit. I only wear my fitted pants with my other ren. gear. It's a personal preference for me, but, when I look at a lot of pictures and historical clothing, I can usually find both types of pants for the time period. Although the looser ones I see much more for the time frame that i dress for.....
  15. Okay... I watched it... It was fun. It was hokey, but, what do you expect from 50's tv... Especially for a buck.. like I said , it was fun.. The Capt.
