I'm not sure if anyone can accommodate my request but here we go. I'm in need of a few items. first let me say they need to be used and cheap. I need a coat, shoes or boots, and trousers or breaches. I wear shirt size 2x and fill out the chest. pants vary from 36 to 40. shoe size from 11 to 12. I can modify fix repair or adjust almost whatever to ensure fit and function. I'm also looking for camp gear. pots and pans and a decent size wedge. No poles are necessary. feel free to message or email me if you have anything that I could use, and thanks for your time. I also am planning on attending the fort this fall. If I can come up with clothes and a big enough tent, I'll bring my whole family.

I will definitely be attending the Les Plays des Illinois Colonial Trade Fair & Musket and Rifle Frolic'. I hope some ot you will be able to make it out. It has been awhile since I've been in the company of ship mates.

I believe that Rusty Spike and I were the only ones in attendance. It was a pleasure to meet and converse with Rusty.

I only had the battery power to take a few. I will hopefully get them posted this weekend.

Well I too wish the funds were more available. The Fort was better than I could have imagined. The weather was beautiful, but I truly understand that not everyone can make all events. I am also planning to attend the Fort in the fall. Hope to see everyone there.

Well Mates, I am deffinetaly on board for Fort de Chartres. I would like to know if anyone else will be able to make it. Also does anyone know if I have to do anything special to be in the Pirate Camp area? If so, as much heads up you can give would be greatly appreciated. I plan on setting up camp where everyone else was last year with Mr. Matthew Fennewald.

I will be attending the June Fort De Chartes. I'm starting to think that this is the only event I'll get to go to.

Well for those of you there, you may have noticed I am not. Started a new job, which means I will miss out on a lot of shows. I am a truck driver once more. I am sorry not to be there. Please have a blast, and stay warm.

I have never done a woods walk. I am hoping to have this Kentucky pistol done by then, but who knows. I would be interested in participating in anything that I can. Also, does anyone have a tent me and my family might be able to borrow for this event? (2 adults and 3 children) If not it is totally ok.

Winter Rendezvous Fort de Chartres Annual Winter Rendezvous. Nov. 5 and 6, 2011. The Winter Rendezvous is an old fashioned gathering of Natives, "Buck Skinners", French and British Soldiers, Traders, Les Coureurs de Bois, and a couple of "Ne'r-Do-Wells". The time period is 1700 to 1820. Visit the Traders and the primitive camps. The event features a "Woods Walk" flintlock muzzleloading shoot. The shoot has limited access. Does anyone plan on attending this event? I know it's early, and I know that it is close to P.I.P. I was just wondering.

Yes Bo, I did find my phone. Well I guess I should say our camp neighbors found it. They called my house on it, and was nice enough to mail it to me.
