  1. Well I not be havin' a copy of the offendin' item. I were to be askin' ye for a copy so as I could be puttin' it up on the net. I take it ter be a no then should I be askin' ye?
  2. Ok Skavenger, seein' as I'm such a gent - please don' be tellin' no-one though, I have a reputation ter be upholdin' - I'll be swappin' scores wi' ya.
  3. Woohoo!! 71% Actually, thinking about it, with some of the "issues" I have I'm a tad disappointed with the score I got. Figure it should be 90%+ at least.
  4. The biggest favour I could be doin' yer Cap'n Foxe is by not singin' a song fer ya. Whatever joy ye may be gettin' out of takin' the mickey out of me offkey warblin's will be more than offset by the pain that I be likely ter be doin' to yer ears!
  5. I don' be knowin' about that ta be fair macstink. Yer did be makin' a grab fer a part of me body that I wish ta be grabbed by no man once. Of course, ta also be fair ta ye, it may have be havin' somethin' ta do with me makin' out I were ta be drinkin' yer grog without yer permishun' than out of any "inclinations" though!
  6. Come come now, I be behavin' meself the last couple of years regardin' that matter (the not-so-subtle hints finally workin' their way inbto me grey matter after a few short years an all!). I didn't even be menshunin' that there be footy on while we were raidin' Swansea did I?
  7. Tis one of me personas it be true when the fruity juice has started ta course thru' me veins. Could be worse - you could get the persona where I talk 'bout nothing bar footy and computers or, horror of horrors, where I be thinkin' that I be the world's greatest comedian!
  8. Aye, macstink, I cam empamathise with ye there. There's a few places that I couldn't be bothered getting up from after a bout or 2 of fruity beverages........... ............parks, fields, walls outside pubs, bus shelters to name but a few.
  9. That be aright young master filch......... .......yer'l always be a bilge rat ter us.
  10. Nae worries be there Master Filch, We can always rely on Brownie ter be doin' our musket balls and most of our crew have an inklin' of how ter be makin' 'em so yer presence is not bein' essenshul in that regard.
  11. The first few images of this raid are now online and can be found at:- http://www.sheppeypirates.org/SeaSheppey2006.htm
  12. Shouldn't we all be out pillaging and plundering though?
  13. I'll help out with the bidding if ye be needing any help with funds!
  14. I have:- A Pappenhimer Rapier (Re-enactment blade) Cutlass Cavalry sword Both carbon steel blades Would really like to add a musket and a few axes/daggers to the mix though. I'm like that!
  15. Cheers for that link. I've been looking for a short-barelled musket for a while and the British "Ranger" one on that site is perfect. All I have to do is find the money for it now!
  16. I had a real hard meal to cook tonight. Salad.
  17. The only thing that can be said to that is:-
  18. You could do what the rest of my crew did when I turned up to a raid with a brand new, pristine hat. They shot it with a flintlock pistol! Luckily for me, they did allow me to take it off first (although some were hoping to shoot it while I was still wearing it! ).
  19. Here's mine:- ***Your Birthdate: June 10*** Independent and dominant, you tend to be the alpha dog in most situations. You're very confident, and hardly anything ever shakes you. Mundane tasks tend to drain you - you prefer to be making great plans. You are quite original. When people don't "get" you, it bothers you a lot. Your strength: Your ability to gain respect Your weakness: Caring too much what others think Your power color: Orange-red Your power symbol: Letter X Your power month: October Most of it is way off and there's a few people here who know me personal like who can confirm it! Especially the confident bit - if anything, I'm completely the other way.
  20. Aye, Cap'n Foxe - that he is. Especially when he goes to sleep in a puddle and doesn't realise it!
  21. Hi all, Well, the Sheppey Pirates - along with the Sea Wolfes and Black Flag - have just got back from Swansea, Wales after a succesful raid on the city last night. Over 2500 people, according to the local media, were right royally entertained with a pirate battle between 2 of the crews over ownership of a very nice sailing ship despite the force 8 gale and torrential rain that accompanied the night's events! Again, photos will be going up on the Sheppey Pirates website just as soon as we process them.
  22. Hi all, Well, Sea Sheppey was a great success the weekend before last with several of the UK's pirate crews all converging on sunny Sheppey for all sorts of capers and shenanigans. - despite the Royal Navy's attempts to put a stop to it We've got loads of photos and some of them are actually publishable. They'll be added to the Sheppey Pirates website in due course and then we'll let you all know when they're up and on the 'net.
  23. Oi! We're not stark raving mad - it's just the rest of you are just too damn sane (otherwise known as "boring").
  24. Kass, We already have you're site linked to in our website's forum as a source of historical clothing patterns. Purser Skavanger added it to the list recently.
  25. And you could be equally crafty as well Cap'n Foxe - and do the passing round when macstink's not there! But you'd already worked that one out, hadn't you?
