  1. Don't worry - it's back up now after being down - for me anyway - for the last 6-8 hours.
  2. You can count me in Paul. I'm looking at getting a pair of shoes and they don't come supplied with buckles so those would be perfect.
  3. Is anyone else having problems connecting to Jas Townsend's website at the moment? I was trying to place an order this morning - UK time - and got as far as the order confirmation screen. When I hit the confirm order button my browser just spent ages waiting before getting the message that the connection had been reset. Since then I've either had the same message or that the page couldn't be loaded for all the pages on their site whenever I try to access it. Just wondered if it was me or anyone else was having problems with their website. Cheers.
  4. Here's an absolutely cracking image of our cannon being fired by the crew:-
  5. Glad to be of service Skavenger! And to give the all-women crew their full dues:- From left to right are Mainsail (Loading), Mannslaughter (Ramming), Bob the Cabin Boy (Worming and Sponging) - fans of Blackadder will get the reference! - Scupper (Firing) and Skavenger (Gun Captain).
  6. Well, we've put the first few photos online taken at this raid. We decided to try out an all-women cannon crew for the first time - quite a few of our women members had crewed the cannon but we'd never tried an all-women crew out before - and have put 5 pics up on our webspace:- Hope you like them! We'll be adding them to our gallery proper in the next day or so.
  7. I wanna be knowin' why young master Filch appears to be neglectin' his educashun' agin. I be thinkin' that Skavenger may need to be told.
  8. Nar, we just leave yer rambling to yerself Filch. Who else would understand yer?
  9. Mad Dog, we can have Filch kissing the gunner's daughter if yer want fer his impertinence.
  10. You're talking my language again Kass. Got some of Garbage's stuff myself.
  11. Not quite true Quartermaster. I did watch each of the Lord of the Rings films the day I bought the DVD. Although, I must admit, there are a couple of my DVDs I've yet to watch even though I've had the films for a couple of years or so!
  12. I've just found that one on E-Bay - I assume that's where you got the pic - for sale for $250:- http://tinyurl.com/kq8er Getting more expensive by the moment this is.
  13. I guess it's a bit modern looking and a little small but I have just found this:- http://www.puzzlering.net/astrolabe.html
  14. What about this one then:- http://www.uniquecanes.com/new/item_nautic...olabe_ring.html It's only $119.95 which is about £70 given the current exchange rate and would be within our group's budget. Or perhaps this one:- http://uniquecanes.com/new/item_nautical_i..._astrolabe.html

  17. Here's mine:- Your past life diagnosis: I don't know how you feel about it, but you were female in your last earthly incarnation. You were born somewhere in the territory of modern North Africa around the year 975. Your profession was that of a designer, engineer or craftsman. Your brief psychological profile in your past life: Seeker of truth and wisdom. You could have seen your future lives. Others perceived you as an idealist illuminating path to future. The lesson that your last past life brought to your present incarnation: Your lesson is to develop a kind attitude towards people, and to acquire the gift of understanding and compassion.
