It would depend. In my favor: no critters bug me; used to all sorts of bad weather; and have eaten some sick stuff (hey, I work in retail). One pirate that you want to look up is Edward Low. When he took over the Nostre Signiora de Victoria The Portuguese captain threw out a bag with 11,000 moidores in it. Low cut off the captain's lips, broiled them in front of his face, and murdered the entire crew. On another occasion: "After this he took a sloop bound to Amboy, Wiiliam Frazier master, with whom Mr. Low happening to be displeased, he ordered lighted matches to be tied between the mens fingers, which burnt all the flesh off the bone; then cut them in several parts of their bodies with knives and cutlasses..." Any good pirate MUDS? I've been out of the MUD addict loop for some time and my brother is interested in a pirate version. I showed him Pirate Wars 2, but he was looking for a proper one. BTW, like Bilgemunky said, check it out! Fun so far, and the upgrades are a laugh riot! Drake

I have read in Under the Black Flag, and I think Capt. Johnson's book on pirates mentions it as well, but I have not seen an actual description of it. My curiosity has got the better of me now and it's driving me up the wall. Can you guys let me know what the heck it is? I would be really grateful! Drake

I will probably end up swinging for this one, but I really liked "Treasure Planet", especially the soundtrack. I thought Master and Commander was a really good one, though no pirates and full frame . Also a big fan of the A&E series Horatio Hornblower, though neither movie nor piratey. Really need to see that Muppet Treasure Island. I heard nothing but praise for that movie.

Petite Tabeque(sp)? I was listening to the commentary from Verbinski and Depp, and I think that is what they called the island. On the other hand, my hearing is shot. The answer is probably on the commentary somewhere, though. Drake
