Henry Martin

I'm a NY-based actor, singer and designer. I have had the pleasure of six years (so far) of being part of the New York Renaissance Faire Cast. I started playing "Captain Jack Swallow" (it's a parody...er...no copyright infringement here...probably) and later delved into my love of Celtic, folk and maritime music and created Captain Henry Martin, singing pirate vagabond and Captain of the Glasgow Sky.

So far I have released two CD's: Henry Martin: On the Salt Sea & Henry Martin: Around the Bay. I run a pirate entertainment company out of New York called Pirates, Inc. (no relation to the musical group in the midwest!) Our website is: www.piratesinc.org and we are part of a larger entertainment company called Off Sides Entertainment. I am also a member of the pirate band, The Crimson Pirates.

I currently live in Baldwin, New York. I perform summers at The New York Renaissance Faire and on the streets of Provincetown, MA. The rest of the year I am a working NY actor/singer and costumer.
