    Sorry for not popping by. Got busy with sending half the crew to Hat's Off Day and the other half in Steveston for Ship to Shore. This weekend Boat for Hope, Next weekend Langley Days, then Rusty Scuppers and then Canada Day. All the while rehearsal, edits and such. I'm crazy and loving it!!

      And today is my wedding anniversary. 20yrs. This Friday we get to take a sunset cruise on the Lady Washington to celebrate. On board, no costume, no obligations, no Ed (in other words no Cobbs and Charity) or crew (Well JD crew. They need their crew to be able to sail).. just Martin and I (& a few ticket buying public). sigh.

    Up late getting ready for rehearsals tomorrow. Tired as we were at the storage locker getting items for the Corporate Staf party/awards banquet later this week. The ship and dock were buried under BCRF set pieces. What a day. Long sleep tonight.

      Hmmm... How about our 1700s characters? The characters are there and in play but have a quarter of the support, development and meat that the 1500s versions do. Could be interesting to see how you see this lot. You could even make up more navy characters (and other ships for either side) and you can place it wherever. I have no problems with you using the characters we already have, just don't sell it until we've all looked and approved. Kay?

    Let's see. Costume repairs for this weekend's gig? Almost done. Swrods oiled up and scabbards checked? YUP! Boys sashes and bandanas all present? Mostly but since they are not always mentally there not sure it matters. ;-P Exhausted from all of that, sword practice and paperwork. YUP. Ready to pirate up the Diamond Ball fundraiser.. HELL YEAH!!! Now to sleep.

      Ahhh.. Posted that only once. It did nothing. I hit reload. I got a 500 internal error... Then I hit reload until it comes back and it posted a few times.. whoops... I spoke too soon? Does that count?

    My foot. SO.. All you young up and coming pirate sword fighters, if you have high arches and have taken anything that may affect muscle and/or bone. GET ORTHOTICS!! Got X-Rays done to find out if my last performance is the cause of my excess pain and VOILA! Yes and no. Aparently, due to years of impact and the high arch and years of birth control (Yes - It can cause things like calcium depletion in somce women) my right foot now has a 'spear' in it where the bone has ...

      Yeah. It's kind of weird on the X-Ray. Corrective inserts ordered. Hoping they'll get to me in time for PPF. I have to fight. Obligated and I will not skip on an obligation.

      .....my right foot now has a 'spear' in it where the bone has gotten weak and, well, is now 'jabbing' into my foot when I put pressure on my arch. The Dr. says it is technically a form of artritus. BUMMER! Tomorrow morning - Go to see the Ortho people. Don't know where I'll get the cash but if I want to stay a special skills actor - need to walk, dance, fight with no pain. Not a short update? Yeah.. Just a little in shock.
