    I'm getting backed up a bit... Greg's book At the Point of a Cutlas came in from Amazon last week but I haven't started it yet. The Wrath of Brotherhood by Ozgurk K. Sahin is in the Ebook que and partially read. I just finished the reprint of Blackbeard & the Carolina Pirates by Shirley Carter Hughson.

    Back to axes, there was an boarding axe at the pirate camp weapons table but the only axe I saw being carried was by Matt of Baltimore Knife and sword.

    That boat would have fit right in at Blackbeard's Festival in Hampton, VA. There's also a festival in Olcott on Lake Ontario.

    William - What hemp are you using? I ordered 1/4 and 1/2 through Hemp Basics in NJ but it is a multi-ply weave and the ends must be wipped and splices most difficult. Jas. Hook
