About Me

The Armed Brig "Meka"II is a scale replica of an 18th Century Privateer. She was designed and Built by Owner and Master, Captain Horatio Sinbad. As said by our Commander, "How do you get a Pirate Ship if you want one in the 1960s? Why you build one!"

Home to Capt. Sinbad and Chief Officer, Lt. Terry Brown for over 40 years, this vessel has plied the waters from the Great Lakes to the Carribean Sea. She's not just logged the miles but brought the knowledge of the Arts of the Sailor to many a young cadet aboard of the "Meka".

New to our crew the last few years, our Bos'un, Dutch. Having logged many Blue Water miles Dutch took a liking to this area of the Carolina Coast and found a berth for his vessel, "Patience". The life of a Sea Rogue will call and when you hear it from Cap'n Sinbad you can almost feel the Dabloons in your hands!

There's a lot to be seen about the "Meka"II on our website listed below.
