  1. I just want to take a minute to thank those involved in PIP and the reinactors, thanks for your making me feel so welcome, even though I was with vendors. You looked out for my well being and made sure that I felt included and offered for me to join in the fun. I had big hopes to hang out in the pub after hours...and I didn't do it. We came to the closing dinner, but my friends, I was with got hungry and we had to go eat. They are on an old peoples schedule. We eat early, go to bed early and get up early. Killed me. I will try to post some of my pics on here too that I got. I got some nice battle ones and lots of the Schooner Wolf. Thanks again...hope we make it next year. They are talking about coming as patrons maybe as the vending is physically so hard on them. Thougn they did do the best with sales this year that they ever have so I'm thinking they will change their minds. Thanks again for all of you being the great people that you are!!!!!!! I did a lot of advertizing for PIP from the Keys to Iowa as I wore my pirate garb on the planes...and people asked a lot of questions and I gave out a lot of info. Carol Belding Jepson The Forking Queen.
  2. I found myself at PIP but on the last day I lost something I love...I lost a mini wine glass that is neat that I bought last year at a 2nd hand store in Big Pine Key. It's very ornate, and I had it on my belt, it's silver with glass and has my name on the bottom in marker: The Forking Queen. I would pay for postage and a reward to get it back!!!! It may be laying on the grounds or near the modern camping area.
  3. Not right place to post this at but....was there a lost and found at PIP? I have lost a small silver brandy snifter that is ornate and has glass in it. I lot it in the wee hours Monday morning. I'll pay to have it sent back to me. Thanks.....
  4. Soap issues were there last year....found a way around that........but I'm not telling......no I didn't take a shower in the nude in the moon light....lol
  5. I am so excited to be able to come to my 2nd PIP soon. Have a great time last year & the pyrates scare me. Goal: spend a nite at the pub..

  6. There is a woman here in Des Moines, IA that makes felt tricorn hats. Last one I bought from her last year was a little over 50.00. Like 52.00. Her business name is, Fine Hats by Felicity. I believe she trims them in gold trim. I'm sure if you ordered it from her she'd do whatever you want. I love mine..it has held it's shape well and I'm very happy with it....and I'm not very easy on it either....
