As the winds change so my current interests. As the lsit of real interestes in too long to type here head to www.myspcae.com/nickstrojny to see if I have posted anything of interest.
1. by the by for those who are un aware my "real" name is Nicholas Vain

2. ok so i know this is a little off topic but...what exactly kind of music do the arogant worms play? it sounded good and would be potentially interested in hearing more....
3. ok dokey...first things first...as i recall from papazians book he says that the legal limit of home brewing was 120 gallons per legaly aged person liveing in a residence....secondly after prohobition wine and meade were immediatly legal to brew, beer however was not... and it was only as a result of poorly worded laws nothing more or less heinious than that, but mr carter fixed it, and now we in america are begining again to discover that beer is potentially more than just a tasteless pilsner made with to-dang-much cornsyrup (steps off saop box...trips over ego) yes the rumors are true this weekend if all goes to plan ( which it never does) i am planning on starting a batch of sweet, semi dry, dessert wine, of the plum variety. also inspite of the fact or despite (veiw depending) that i have no gooseberries this year has anyone out there made any wine with gooseberries in the past? also was hopeing that some one could explain the use of oak chips and oak essence...as a country child, and with most of my wine likeing and drinking being wines either not made with grapes or not made to the specifacations of anything like merlot, chablis, ect i ve never heard of or tasted this unless its used to impart the flaver of a scortched barrel while being brewed with glass...if some could help with that id be really interested to learn about that as it sounds very interesting and may be something i add to later brews and potentially to beer brews as well espesially since the cost of real cask to brew a cask ale is allegedly prohibitivly expensive and cask brewsa re so very much a delicious treat that is quite rare im finding but there is a place in columbus that does regularly serve cask ales but im of the understanding that you almost have to be on an inside track to get there in time before their gone.... also going to be haveing another batch of deckhand honey ale on brew as well real soon everything except the time to do it is in order! so lots do lots to brew and lots of cheers from me to you!
4. Well now that I'm home and finding myself totally swamped in all the stuff that didn't get finished before left, I'm planning on rebrewing the same batch as before, and also brewing it without the honey this time, to see what the main differance is going to be. If all goes according to plan (which it never does) Ill be brewing again in not time flat! some pyraty sort of exclamtion!!!
5. Silas if'n you don't mind me ask'n can i get oner them pipture cds from ya? as soon as i get some issues with my stuff figured out ill get some pics up on the matrixand will be glad to send pic cd's to anyone that wants'um (please specify it'n yourn wanting them as a vcd slide show for the the dvd player or just a data dvd) (or cd for those with out dvd drives) ...aargghh....
6. so the other day i was walking along and a minstrel was playing a fine tune. when he stp i walked and dropped a doubloon in the slot and requested a song. he turned around and slapped me so hard my other tooth fell out! as i stood there hurt and angry he cryed "thats me backside you idgit! and that be friggin cold to i say!" any way what are some of youns favorit songs out there? or favorite artists? one of mine happens to be "hank williams sr" and one song would have to be "fade to black" now then lets have a sit and listen to a tune and an ale please!
7. hmmm.....don't see one that says "set the controls for the heart of the sun" misled again! arrgghh!
8. its been along time since i was on it definitly before the pirates in the carribean movie but as i recall it was right before the movie released. the only part i remeber is the ship attacking the port but i really actally enjoyed the whole ride don't really recall any part being my "favorite" cheers!
9. apologies to anyone who may feel that my previous post is putting a bad light on the event. was not intended sound so harsh! quite the opposite actually since mickey and kate are planning on going ( and i have only tagged along with them) i wanted to express that for many of my own reasons that i won't be able to go not that i don't want to go sorry for any misunderstanding Now more rum!
10. well after reviewing the requi's for the event i am at this point certainly NOT going on account that I have 3 other projects to finish /do and am trying to do as much resaerch as i can for a charecter to play as....besides that i am very sure that takeing more days off work that soon to pip may be a problem also was looking for any one that can pm or post links to good sources of general and specific info for essentially 1600 to 1800 be trying like heck to find and all i find is the terrible ameri-editted history not real histories thanks!!
11. Right now just really strong coffee. (really strong meaning 3/4 of the way to espresso) later mre really strong coffee with Frangelico gives the coffe nce buttery hazelnut flavor! Cheers!
12. Earlier in the year kate showed me the sketchbooks and explained how it works and sounds really cool. also have read all 13 pages to this point and though i desire to be involved, i don't have the patience or comitment to partake in this event...espesially because inspiration seems to come slowly to me if its alright with everyone involved when the next round starts if i have something to add i'll talk to kate and see if she would let me add it to whom evers book she has.
13. While this has absolutely nothing of any sort to do with pyracy... my favorite book of art is
H. R. Giger's Necronomicon
the visual styles are totally amazing and many of my own works (sadly they are only collages) are of a style that may be considered "similar"...
14. Your pirate name is: Bloody William Roberts Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Two things complete your pirate persona: style and swagger. Maybe a little too much swagger sometimes -- but who really cares? Arr! don't think ill use that but maybe a little later on i might consider it..........
