Like my other ads, I had to order mass quantities to get the correct reproductions for my Teague set. And I have to get rid of some surplus or I cant start on new toys. 23MM dull brass buttons. Very heavy duty and superior quality. My peon account at ebay is loaded, so they will have to be paypal or local business. $1 apiece, free shipping on orders over 10. A coat uses APPROXIMATELY 24, but that changes according to its cut and decorations. Will work with a merchant for a bulk discount also.

No, I do not have a full time ebay store I am spamming for, I put these on there so folks can feel secure in their transactions if necessary, at least those who do not know me around here. If anyone should prefer I can always do locally or else straight Paypal as well. Annnnnyway....in my search for reproductions for my Teague garb I had to custom order the two buckles he wears and of course there was a huge minimum order required. Teague buckles or no, considering that the larger buckles are harder to find and are usually quite pricy, I wanted to offer the fine folks here a chance at some pretty buckles to wear. And anyone with a full time shop, if interested messag…

To give something back to the Pyracy Pub community I have created a discount code that people on this site can use to get 10% discount off any orders from www.lettersofmarque.co.uk When you add something to the cart and proceed to checkout, you will see a spot to enter a coupon code on the Payments page. Once you fill in the code and press Enter, it will be checked for validity, a Success message will show on the screen, and your order Total will be adjusted appropriately. The code is pyracypub enjoy

For sale, a Cold Steel 18th century small sword. These are £300+ new. Some slight marks on scabbard (see photo). Asking £190 (including postage). Anyone who's ever handled one of these will tell you what a beautiful sword it is. When they first came out there was a review that said "This isn't a replica sword. This is a sword." That about sums it up. Also, is makes a Zorro movie-style swishing noise when you swing it through the air...

I went by Big Mike's shop a week back and took some pictures of his workspace and some upcoming knife projects. Here's the shop. This is a pic of Big Mike working on a Mediterranean kard. And this is a Viking knife he's offering up for sale at $130. The handle is ebony and the fittings are a combination of brass, steel, bronze and malachite. The sheath is made of red oak with loose leather cross-straps to hold a coin, stone or other special totem.

Ivan Henry Trading Company odd ball items sale!!! I have two items that are odd balls and need a home. 1. 14th Century Hand Gonne. It's a cannon on a stick. Complete with linstock, instructions, a few wood balls you can shoot, powder measure and more. Hand made in the USA - $250. New - never used. Really sweet! 2. Rustic handmade serpentine 15th century style arquebuss. Rough but functional serpentine arquebuss size fireable (will pass safety inspections) musket. I saved this from a re enactor sale and had some work done to it to make it safe, useable and at least close to a few late 15th Century / early 16th style. $300.

Firepots were ceramic pots that were filled with oil or gun powder and topped with a wooden fuse. Around the outside of the pot were loops or “ears” that slow match was tied to. The pot was thrown onto enemy ships or fortifications using a lanyard (also tied to the ears or onto the rim of the pot). On impact with a hard surface the pot could crack spilling out the contents that was then ignited by the slow match. If the pot failed to smash then the fuse in the top would ignite the contents. Some firepots even contained a Grenadoe that would be lit when the pots contents ignited This is an inert replica of the firepots found aboard the La Belle shipwreck which san…

Hello everyone. I should preface this post by saying that I've never sold any of my maps and that I'm still unsure as to how much they may be worth to someone. But.... I'm in need of some 19th century kit in order to work at a historic site here near Seattle and was told by a fellow reenactor I should try to sell my maps in order to make that possible. So what will you get? A map. On linen paper, Hand plotted, drawn, inked and colored(if you so desire) Every map I've made so far has been very closely based on an original I've found somewhere. I promise you the closest to a period map that I am able to make. I have been using modern inks so that the drawing and letteri…

Hand sewn by me from a 1750's coat pattern I modified a tad. Wool outer with a 100% linen liner, sewn with linen thread. I think I added copper buttons and there might be pewter on the cuffs. I tried to make it around a 46, but it still got a tad bigger. $100. and some shipping OBO

I'm selling this antique Queen Anne Priming horn from my own collection. Perfect for early to mid 1700s reenactment. This is an original Queen Anne style priming flask from the early 18th century. This would have been used mainly with pistols and carried in the pocket of a waistcoat. There is a slight crack in the screw on cap and there is some wear to the bottom of the horn but other than that this is a fine example of these rare and collectable powder flasks. It is approx 3" wide and 6" tall. $179.27 (these are on some websites for over $400) http://www.lettersofmarque.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=197

Ahoy mates! I work on a 72' brigantine doing pirate living history. I have a pair of straight last shoes, but never get to use them on board as they have leather soles, and I like to not slide while working on deck or aloft. Call me Mr. Picky if you like, but thud is bad, splash is bad, and thud splash is real bad. Is anyone out there selling straight last shoes with a rubber sole? If so, I am willing to give them a try and if they work well the whole crew will probably grab some. I'm not looking for boots. Thank you in advance for thinking of it, but I just need a good shoe. Best, Mr. Atwood Quartermaster, Formidable

Have scoured the internet looking for reasonably priced reproductions of gunner's tools, such as gunner's level, gunner's quadrant, and gunner's calipers. Cannot find them if they are out there. Anybody have some they want to part with, or can anyone recommend a site that may carry them?

Here is another sword we custom made for one of me mates. They wanted something special in a leaf guard cutlass. After asking some questions on what exactly they were looking for we found that it was to be made for battle, stage and show. After coming up with several drawings we settled on this Maple Leaf pattern and submitted it to our mate the end result is what you see here in the pictures. It is a Double Maple Leaf guard cutlass with a 5160 full tang Carbon Steel blade, that we hand forged. The pommel we cut from a single piece of Nickel Silver. The handle is Curly Maple to compliment the Maple leaf Guard that has a set screw holding the blade securely, at the end of…

Just finished up the makings of George Washington's Battle Sword for a mate that can't follow through with his order. Not sure if the link to the picture will work but if you all copy and paste it in your browser you can see the pics of it up close. This is a fully functional battle sword that we hand forged from a piece of carbon steel with nickel plated hardware. We make many swords for our mates and hope that you all like this one http://tiptopwebsite.com/photos4/kingsforgeandmuzzleloading/Washington.JPG http://tiptopwebsite.com/photos4/kingsforgeandmuzzleloading/Washington1.JPG
