~ The Boots ~ You’ll notice that I only model the right one for you. That has to do with the (only) reason I’m selling them. I ordered these from Caboots (familiar to many of you) and they are really very fine. Ask someone with a pair of Caboots boots. However, I only got to wear them twice, because a little thing happened - not related to the boots - that required the titanium vendor to rebuild my left foot, and when he did my left foot was just a bit too wide for these wonderful boots. The foot works; I'm not complaining. I ordered square toes to look more period and leather soles and heels. You can certainly find cheaper boots - but these were not made from th…

Okay, yes I've seen SCA Boots. And yes, I looked for a similiar posting in Plunder, to no avail. I was sure I'd seen a post before, but here goes, I've got $$ coming back from Uncle Sam, and after I spoil myself with a new computer (imac g5 it's sooo sweet), anyways I need a pair of boots. Where would you scurvy dogs suggest I go?

Since there are now a few of us Pub members with Etsy sites, and more (I think) are considering opening up shops of their own on that forum, I thought it would be nice to have a place we could post updates of when we add new things for folks to check out. And, well, you know, with Christmas coming and all, it seemed like a good time to start this thread. So, ck here for announcements about all the things you can buy, made by your fellow Pub members who have set up Etsy shops to sell their fine wares. Better than Ebay, as there is no bidding...you see it, you like it, you buy it. Easy! I have added a few new items to my shop today, so click on the link in my signature,…

Ahoy mates! Long time no see! I've sort of taken a break from pirating for a while, and have instead been focusing on earlier period impressions. However, the Castaway Trading Co. over on Etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/CastawayTradingCo) is still going strong! We were recently asked to vend at a local tropical/voodoo themed ball, and we also recently went through a move, so we've been a little lax on getting new stuff up - however we are now getting back on the proverbial horse (ship? Dinghy?) with a vengeance! So without further ado, I give you the newest item from the Castaway Trading Co. (and in my most humble opinion, one of the best ever): The pirate grenadoe rum bott…

The time has come for a major Change in Latitude... To expedite this process, I am divesting myself of most Worldly Possessions. The Book Collection will be the first few bits of this valuable flotsam and jetsam are currently available through barter with the Amazons... http://www.amazon.com/shops/islandcutter I still have MANY titles to list... lots of books on Pirates (of course), many books on Sailing, Boatbuilding, Woodworking, and Home Repair. You don't get much for selling books on Amazon. I am more interested in seeing them go to good homes. Look over the titles, and feel free to contact me privately if you would like to get a special "package deal" on several …

Hello everyone, As some of you may know our brother Adam Cyphers is in need of some cash, and has been selling off a lot of his kit. I'd prefer not to see this happen to one of my favorite sailor/ blacksmith/people in the living history community. I don't have the cash to buy any of his stuff, but I do have a map I'm willing to part with It’s hand plotted, sketched, then inked, on cotton laid paper. The overall map is 34 ½” tall and 24 ½” inches wide. The top half of the map covers from the 30 degrees latitude (central Florida) to 15 degrees (South of Jamaica) It even includes soundings around Key West :-) The lower half of the map is an enlarged map of the island …
