In the Fabric Whore thread, it was suggested that a thread be started to help those of us who have over flowing fabric bins to break our addiction. Or to help the fabric "have nots" get some good stuff to start their pirate projects. So If your fabric locker is busting at the seems, list the stuff that you know you are probably not going to "get to" here. ***NOTE*** As this is under "Plunder", all types of fabric will probably be listed. That means all types of pirates (Historical, Theatrical, and Festival) will be looking. Please try to describe the fabric as best you can, which should include fibre content if known, along with length and width and brief descript…

So after visiting the treasure museum in Key West last week I felt inspired to make some replicas of a few pieces for our educational displays. The first think we got done were some Gold Ingots. These are cold cast brass with a light waxing with an old gold wax to age and preserve the finish. I am working on getting these cast in solid brass ATM and hopefully will have those available soon. I am currently selling these for $65 for the set of 3 or $40 for the one large one, shipping is included in that price. These are for the cold cast brass, if I get the solid brass available I'll edit with the prices for those. Currently these may take up to 4-6 weeks to ship due …

My personal sword that I made myself for Key West is now for sale. It has a brown leather scabbard that is made to fit in a baldric and I would be happy to make a drag(metal tip) for it if the buyer wished. I am asking $600 for the sword and $675 with the scabbard. $715 with metal tip on the scabbard. This is a huge savings. The sword alone would retial at $675 and the scabbard, as is, would be $112.00. The tip regularly adds $60 to the scabbard price. The sword is the first of this design and features many custom options. I also would throw in a free engraving on the blade. A name or logo/crew flag. Here is a link to the thread with all the details. https://pyrac…

For those who are in the market for shoes, both Practical Goose and Loyalist Arms are close to offering us a period shoe. I've actually held the Practical Goose prototype in my hand. Loyalist has promised to send me pics as soon as they have theirs. So, if you are in the market for shoes, keep saving those pennies. You've waited this long. Now the wait is almost over.

This is a set of replica playing cards of a pack first sold in the year 1700. It consists of the standard four houses and features characters from 17th Century Burlesque Theatre (no not the stiptease kind). There are no Jokers in this pack as these weren't featured in packs of playing cards until about 1860. Printed on period correct Laid card. The cards are also available with a wooden holder based on a surviving example confiscated from a pirate ship. The cards are sandwiched between two wooden panels then fastened in place with string. http://www.lettersof...products_id=148

Each of these flacketts is made by me. I included a description with each one, so I won't be redundant. First come first serve, I will not be making more of any of these designs. (Although I can do additional designs by request, price will vary based off of complexity and color.) I can accept Paypal and money order. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Each one will hold 12 - 14 oz. of liquid, and being made of leather does so very discreetly, for those who still smuggle rum. Ok, I don't exactly know how to make pictures show up on here, so I'll just have to post the whole gallery.
