Hello you creative mates o'mine, I am trying to get back a bit of my life and am starting in small ways. I am playing my Bodhran again but find a need for a bit of wrist support since the surgery. I am looking for a wrist brace two inches and maybe a little more wide that is not so stiff as to not be flexable. When I get to drumming I fly! It cannot be a lacing style but with SECURE snaps or ??? I'd like it carved with a more lifelike Seahorse and or some really nice Celtic knot work... soft browns and greens or... ?? Anyway, I thought I'd give you Pirates the first shot as it were.. Any ideas anyone?

I found a ship's doctor kit, complete with provenance dating it to the early/mid 1800s on eBay. It's too pricey for my collection and it's a little too far from GaOP, but it's still really neat. It gives a small insight into how ship's surgeon's kits were designed. Check it out here.

I am now making bronze blunderbuss pistols. They are a boxlock so a more modern flintlock however for somebody looking to carry a pistol around at an event all day they are wonderful due to their light weight and size. I have taken a few pictures of my personal piece (the others have already sold) and will be taking orders. I can change the stock slightly making it smaller or larger, the belt hook was added on mine and can be added for an extra $50 as it is welded and an integral part of the pistol. One quality that makes these nice is that everything from the band to the end of the barrel is one piece of bronze (nothing to rust). Price is $550 with a $200 deposit. …

Hear Ye! Hear YeI All gather round! As most of you already know, I only sell the finest quality goods and all items sold by me are worth the monies paid! I have a special treat for you today. The foundry of Viceroy and Commodore Swab have agreed to build me a "custom" piece, however it will cost me a little treasure, otherwise I would not let this item go. The Pistol up for bid is a Pedersoli Harpers Ferry Pistol, Davide Pedersoli is one of the top names in high quality reproducton firearms and it shows! This was not a kit, it is a factory assembled piece, a serious, high quality, real firearm that makes the majority of reproduction guns available look like "Tourist toys…

Aye, I've gone and done it. Seemed to be a smart place t' start. Get the word out rather than spend too much coinage in hopes people may see it and either bid or buy. Nay, not goin' for that again. So, here I have a page for this business I dare say I hope to get going. Making attire mostly from the Golden Age of Piracy to the French Revolution. I created this possible business after the advice of MANY people who stated I should make a business out of making these clothes. Long deliberation, and more than several commissions later, aye, I'm wading in to start this business. Here's the Link to the page on Facebook for The Captain's Share: The Captain's Share on Face…
