Over the last 6 to 7 months I have seen him numerous times either at my events or in my travels. His birthday is 14 December. A few years back i remembered The crew from Tales of the Seven Seas did a wonderful thing and put together a small treasure chest of donated swag for a young one. Would anyone be interersted in donating some items for Josh? I have a small chest I am donating along with some other stuff. Ok, I'm going to be arriving late but better late than never. Here I've been kinda packing and burning a few "roadtrip" style CD's that will keep me awake for the 18 hour trek there but getting there is half the fun. Anyway I'll be leaving Sunday night and arriving Monday evening or Tuesday morning. I had to wait for a buddy of mine who wanted to go to return from Ohio so he's be rollin in Sunday night then we'll be leaving shortly thereafter. Oh well I just felt like rambling... *crawls back under rock*

The Pyrates of the Coast will be taking up quarter at the Red Dog Saloon in Port Orchard on New Year's eve. For those in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, head on over - we set up camp at 7 p.m. and will be taking over the place in our pirate gear. Throw in some beads, flashing breasts, and piratical antics and it's quite the time - we make our own party there. What else are you pirates and wenches doing to usher in the New Year? Any voyages afoot in other parts?

Mates All, I recieved offical notice that the long standing Renaissance Faire of the Midlands in Council Bluffs, Iowa has shut it's gates after 23 years due to lack of funding and ever rising operational costs. This is a sad time among the Rennie community as we loose yet another area of sanity in an ever increasing insane world. For those of you who never got the opportunity to visit this faire, you missed out on a really nice faire - the only one I know of that ran at night on Friday so that the working folk could come out and enjoy themselves. At least myself and my crew where lucky enough to bring laughter and smiles to the patrons for three years. Those memorie…

I thought since the orginal topic about Chicago invasion was for the Chicago invasion, it might be better to bring up a possible invasion for Bristol. I had made a note to Morgan that I would grace my presence there when Morgan came home, as reason to have me and my first mate be able to say "Hey you! The one with the face!" and welcome our favorite Captain home. With the invasion of welcome home in April, it'll be a second home coming for him going to Bristol. I have always wanted to see Bristol since it's a home to my orginal home in Southern Califonria. Is anyone game to begin ideas about a possible invasion for Bristol? Yea, I know what your saying.."It's Frea…

Another event I am considering, but less sure about for next year is this one... King Philip's War Event This would be a great event for those of you who are trying to put together gear for the 3rd quarter of the 17th century that would like to use it for militia portrayals as well. My main reservation about this event is that it falls very close to another event I went to last year that I hope to attend again this year. And that much traveling in that short of a period of time doesn't seem likely at this point. As a side note, I have talked to a few people about the possibility of portraying Captain Samuel Moseley's unit for this event. Samuel Moseley was a celebrate…
