Just a few thoughts on the event in NC. IT WAS A GREAT TIME FOR ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Between crowds that seemed truly interested i and wanted to interact with both pyrates and history and the fun that the crews had in interacting with them. Even in the early morning hours the public started to pass through the camps to see what the pirates were doing at the moment. The invasion itself seemed to be a huge success and pictures will be posted as people are able... least i hope so . Callenish and meself will post what we have when we get home. The crews did a grand job with all of the interaction between five differnt crews and 100 + pirates seemed to be flawless, t…

From their website www.lockhousemuseum.org November 3-4, 2007 – Early Maryland History – Pirate Encampment - Come visit the pirates in their camps, watch the attacks on the “town” and cheer on your favorites. Anyone in the area looking for some action stop on by and say hi. And if you have the kit, turn out in it and join in the fun.

Ahoy. This fall, on Saturday, November 4th, the Lockhouse Museum in Havre de Grace will be hosting a Pirate Raid. This will be, as far as I know, the biggest gathering of Pirate and Golden Age of Piracy reenactors ever held in the mid-Atlantic region. If you are a reenactor interesting in attending, please contact me for more info. Hopefully we can make this the best, most authentic, pirate event yet. Rumors say this event will include battles with the local militia, and hanging of captured pirates! Those from this forum who will be attending include Kass, with her coffeehouse and courtesans, Hector Sterling and (some of) the intrepid crewe of the Archangel, and my …

It's that time again... The Kearny Park Faire is a great faire - Tales of the Seven Seas will be joining a number of other groups in the Bedlam area, where we will be wreaking havoc. I really recommend this faire - it's in a great location and the folks who run it are terrific to work with and very pirate friendly!

On Nov.3-4, and Nov. 10-11, the last major faire of the year happens. Even though it states Ren-faire, there is Pirates Cove where some really good groups are like Pirates of Treasure Cove and Stranglehold. The event goes on regardless of rain (hence the nick-name Escondido "Rain" faire) which seems to always threaten the event. I will be selling my wares with my friend and you can find us right along the sidewalk across from the ale garden. Hope to see some of you there!

The Texas Renaissance Festival runs October and November at Plantersville, Texas, and it is a phenomenal event. The fair ground are permanent, and the festival has been in place for over 20 years so it well established and highly popular. People come from as far away as Dallas to this Houston area fest. Although TRF has the usual festival personalities, the Pirate community is ALWAYS well represented. Here is a link to their official website: http://www.texrenfest.com See you there! Just letting everyone know, the Central Florida Pirate Festival is now the Florida Pirate Festival. The same great show! but a much better sounding name. The dates for the 3rd Annual Festival are November 18, 19, and 20th 2005. Much advertising, more props, bigger cast, and some of the best stage entertainment will make this year kick butt. For more info and pictures from last years show visit http://www.PirateFair.com We hope to see all you fellow pirates out at the show! Thanks ElCapitan

I would like to invite all to visit us here in St Augustine Florida for the St Augustine Pirate Gathering this November. If you haven't been to this Historical hamlet before allow us to give you a glimpse of the oldest continually lived in city in North America. It is because of the enduring work of re-enacting groups based in this town (Men of Menedez, Garrison, Men/women of Ponce De Leon, Ancient City Privateers with Crew of the Black Heart and not forgetting the brilliant crews of British Nightwatch) that we are able to do our live battles downtown amongst the backdrop of buildings footprinted in the late 1500 and early 1600's......450 years of history 300+ under the …

So, having heard about this for a couple of years now, exactly *who* does one have to e-mail or call to get information about being one of the lucky performers for this cruise? I've gotten no where with my attempts to contact the cruise line or the performers who had the information on their website (the e-mail came back from Mailer Daemon as undeliverable). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ever so much! Emerald
