Ahoy! I just wanted to wish all of my fellow Pirates a happy and healthy International Scurvy Awareness Day (May 2nd). Fill your mug to the brim with your preferred vitamin C laden beverages and hoist them high in the name of bleeding gums and corkscrew hairs. For more info about International Scurvy Awareness Day, check out their official website at http://www.LimeStrong.com Arr, The Pirate King www.ThePirateKing.com

HAPPY NATIONAL PIRATE DAY! This is not to be confused with "National Speak Like a Pirate Day" which is held on September 19th. This is just "National Pirate Day", a holiday that has slowly disappeared over the years. The general public has become so familiar with "National Speak Like a Pirate Day" that many people refer to that as "National Pirate Day", so the original holiday has all but vanished. It is now nearly impossible to find any reference to it on the internet, due to this confusion of names. Still, isn't it nice that we get two holidays, almost equally spaced in the year? Two times a year when we can invite people over and serve them stale, maggoty food an…

I looking for people to suggest any renaissance or pirate festivals that are with in driving distance of Eastern Washington this summer. I'd like to plan some weekend trips to "real" festivals. The paltry poor crafts and hippy fest that was the Moscow Renaissance Festival has only reminded me how good the real ones are. So I'd like to go visit some. So Suggest Me Up.

Hello Peoples, I was wondering if anyone was attending this Ball? I went last year and it quite a showcase of costuming and masques. There were plently o pyrate folk about as well in their finest garb. I will probably be going with a splash of middle eastern flair. So who's going? Labyrinth Web Page

Aye lads and lasses! Doth anyone out there know that status of the Sterling Renaissance Faire in Sterling, NY. A bloak came to me place this past weekend and did mention that said Faire, which woth sold to folks with great expectations fer its future, woth sold yet again, and thereby disbanded from existance (in otherwords to someone who bought the land JUST FER THE LAND, AND GOT RID O'THE FAIRE!!) Can thar be anyone who can confirm that, either true or false??

If anyone is interested, tomorrow in Annapolis, I believe starting around 10, I'll be with a group of pirates who will be kidnapping the mayor (with her consent, of course). Someone is going into the harbor, though I don't know who. Rumors are she may be going into the harbor. There will be swordplay, and if I have my way, gunfire.

http://www.queenbessandthepyrates.com/ This faire was formerly in Bakersfield, but due to the fairly inhospitable conditions, it has been moved up to Woodward Park in Fresno. I've never been to this park but have been told that it is a perfect location for this kind of faire. Tales of the Seven Seas will be there so stop by and say hello!

It's been too long lads. I've not written in so long me inks dried up and I've had to cut a new quill. But now that it's done I thought I might inform ye of a new exhibit coming to the Cincinnati Museum Center. I'm working the exhibit but I'm not exactly sure of the "official" title yet; but it is the exhibit that Barry Clifford attempted to create twice before in Florida. Why we got it, I don't know. But it is supposed to be fabulous and have many artifacts. (In the case you are wondering the history of the ship, it is the Whydah, a once slaver turned pirate ship when Black Sam Bellamy took her as a prize. As Bellamy made his way back to Cape Cod the Whydah became lodged…

Not to be confused with "National Speak Like a Pirate Day" on September 19th. When is National Pirate Day? Sources tell me that National Pirate Day is in May, but there seems to be some confusion about the actual day. I've almost certainly missed it. Anyone?
