Ahoy an listen up Shipmates & Crew Captains! Those of you that be leading an or speaking for a crew, I be wondering if ya had any interest in having a crew specific photo album to post crew related images in? I should be able to set permissions on each gallery, so only the members of the given crew can upload images to it. So what say you?

Hi, I know a lots of ye.I know many are never going to be ready to make a transition into a full time faire goin fool much like ya knows I am. I'm starting a pyratical group of misfits, insulting, pilaging practical joking humiliating, fun loving friends who like meself might be shipless fools who just might rather staff a guildyard at a certain number of faires and places where we can play! Instead of paying to get in to have no place called home there in the faires we all go to. Som of the faires where we should be able to set up a tent or two are: (and these are in a dateline of occurance during the faire year of first to last.....I think....) Palm Springs Bakersf…

Just curious to know if there are any other pirates in the great lone star state. The only events I know of that might attract such scurvy dogs would be the Scarborough Fair (alas, already past) or the big Texas Rennesance Festival (not untill October). Anyone know if there any other pirate events in these parts?I know we have a local SCA, but I don't know if there are any pirates in the group...

SINCE we have had trouble getting a thread of our own on the crew section, I'll put this in here.. We are the Pirates of the Plains, the Corsairs of the Cornfields. The only pirate ship of pyrite, we are The Fool's Gold! http://www.foolsgoldpirates.com Left behind after a major typhoon, we are now based in the Midwest. We are from Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Minnesota. You will find us marauding at movies, kidnapping kids, plundering picnics, and fooling around at fests. We've been known to drink with Capt Morgan, and dine with Long John Silver. Remember, plundering and pillaging WHILE you wait. If we sack your village, do you want paper or plastic? Capn…

::Updated/Revised Post:: Hello all! I am on the hunt for some new members for our pirate crew/group. Our founding members are based in PA, WV, and OH. However, we have also gone to (or plan to go to) events in NJ, MD, and VA. I have come here on a search for a few different things: 1. People who would like to join one of our crews (we currently have 2 ships, both with female captains). 2. Already existing crews that would like to ally with us and possibly hang out with us at events 3. Any other type of ne'er-do-wells that would like to join our group, which basically welcomes all types of thieves, bandits, gypsies, mercenaries, and the like. We aren't super stri…

Mayhap when we go to faire we could possible do a Kaper's list for things to do/be done and willing hands to do the work, so that it be all shared. The cap't worked his @$$ off this weekend past, and even tho he ne'er complain and loves wot he do, signing up for chores be a good way to make it even as possible. I also thot mayhap we can add a small sign on canvas about story times for the wee ones, and mayhap a song list we can be singing in camp for fun and to pass the time... We could even plan feasts together if ye be willin...if we haves fire we have a way to cook small things together... Just me thots on this today...

Out from the cornfields, a sinister shape approaches. The shadow sucks the life from all it covers, and so on it goes on. It seeks life, it demands gold.. will you be willing to sail with her? Welcome to our post for a ship's crew in the Midwest. We don't do much singing and dancing, but we do know how to pour Guinness. Captain Morgan is the ship's rum choice, and gold is the treasure we search for. If you live around the Chicago/Minnesota/Iowa, email me or ask about it here. This 'ship' is mainly for invasions to faires and Festivals, but it could be expanded in the future. Join the crew of the ship, Fool's Gold.

All right m'loves. I'm searchin for a good crew and some close Mates to join me in my piratin' ways. I make my home in New Hampshire where my Land claiments tug at me heart strings. But the sea and the love of piratin' pulls me south to Pennsylvania and New Jersey at least once a month for some good ol' times and adventures to be had. Any one interested in strikin' an acord and joinin' me let me know and I'll lay out in detail for ya the glorious world of the Black Swan and where she'll make bearth next.

Well mateys two years ago right here on line a few of youz grabbed ahold of an idea, A dream and we began this here group of sea dogs, dedicated as one to all and from all for one. The Pirates of Treasure Cove a non profit organization dedicated to literacy and promoting the importance of reading. We went through some hot damn bad times. We seen the ugly side of friendships die for certs. There have been a hundred or more arguments and it just now seems to be headed for a place where we all hoped we all originally headed. The egos have left, The dedicated remain. We are simply the best damn group of pirates on the left coast. Open arms and hearts welcomes ye all. We raise…

After some rambling in Pirate Pop, I thought I'd make this post to ask anyone who's in Baltimore if there are any events where historical accuracy isn't as much of an issue. Because, while I intend to eventually devlop an accurate costume, with my money issues the way they are (college kills!) I probably won't be able to do that for a while, but I'd still like to participate in functions and not wind up on someone's "look how innaccurate her costume was!" website =p (i ran into a few of those before i stumbled into this forum) anyway, thanks for any information you might have

Good day and well met gentiles. This location is blessed by it's origination is here in the pub where Ray serves the ale and friends can be where they are comfortable. We are the Pirates of Treasure Cove an idea sparked by a common need to have fun and do something possitive at the same time while interacting with patrons at local Renaissance faires and Pirate gatherings (festivals). There is nothing better than being with friends, sharing an idea, and watching as it all comes together. Our ideal of which is most common is promoting the importance of reading and sharing booklists to children about the sea, its peoples and pirates. We can too be found in our yahoo group wh…

SeaLegs and I are looking to start a local group in the Maryland area. Pub crawls and mass drinking are not our thing since most of the time we have our powder monkeys and cabin boys with us. This also means that it would be family oriented. Want to get together sharing ideas on outfitting (sewing both fantasy and authentic), props and music. Also want to go as a group to various local events. Send me a PM if interested.

Ahoy, Although my captain (Stingray) and I have been sailing single-handedly for about a year we have finally managed to gather together a group of like minded misfits and call ourselves a crewe. We are now known as the Pirates of Disappearing Island and hail from Ponce Inlet Florida. Stingray and I have attended Pirates in Paradise as well as Pyrate Con and plan on returning to both with a larger and wilder bunch of bilge rats. We look forward to some rum sipping and good times with others that consider themselves the scurge of the sea. fair winds and happy plundering to all.

Hello, I for the most part do not believe there are many Alabama pirates. I at one time heard of this crew, but have tried contacting them and have not gotten far. The first mate of me crew has a house in dauphin island, Alabama. SO, we want to take over the crew of Massacre Island Pirates. If anyone has any ideas as if this old crew is still active or knows how to get in touch with them, it would help alot. Seeing how my crew goes to so many events along the gulf and Atlantic coast, we should be the ones to take over this crew/carry on/steal.... many thanks, Capt. Jesse
