Is it only me who is having problems with photobucket? All of a sudden, I can't upload pictures from my computer. Never had a problem before. Did the usual easy fixes first, like shut down and restart the computer (I leave it on most of the time), did program updates. Nadda. I'm still unable to upload pictures. Trying to get photobucket to answer a problem is a pain in the butt, since you have to have a seperate log-on code name, etc. to get to thier troubleshooters, who give you a long list of stuff to check on your computer first, most of which I have no idea what they are talking about. I am not a computer tech. Sheesh. Any advice? Oh, and BTW, I have a Mac.

It's surprising that with such legal minds any pirates were ever hung THESE ARE COURT TRANSCRIPTS VERBATIM. These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts, and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters that had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place. ATTORNEY: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact? WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks. ATTORNEY: Are you sexually active? WITNESS: No, I just lie there. ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all? WITNESS: Yes. ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory? W…

I found this link on another forum, but figured that others may find it interesting.... OK... the links don't load quite right (when the first one is done, just wait and the next should load)..... but it is a TV series about people that like to dress up.... (hey... we do that as Pyrates...) and they handle the different groups without getting snarky about it.... cool http://current.com/shows/the-current-countdown/92367212_dressed-for-action-part-1.htm Chaps (guys that like to dress up "nicely"), Super Heroes, LARPers, Animie, and cross dressers (the High heal/Drag race is kinda funny...)

Depp... I gotta take my hat off to the guy, not only did he donate $2 million to the hospital that treated his daughter, but he showed up in secret dressed as Jack Sparrow and told stories to kids there. Brings a tear to this old pirates eye... http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...5012974,00.html

DUBLIN, Calif. (AP) — A stunt for the TV show "MythBusters" sent an errant cannonball through a California family's house and into a parked minivan a few hundred feet away. Producers for the Discovery Channel show fired the cannonball Tuesday at the Alameda County Sheriff's Department bomb range behind the Santa Rita Jail when it misfired. Sheriff's spokesman J.D. Nelson told the Contra Costa Times (http://bit.ly/umCZnD ) that no one was injured and the home's residents didn't even wake up until the dust was settled — literally on top of them. Nelson, who is also a consultant for the show, said producers have used the cannon that they built at the range more than 50 ti…

"Underdog" opens today. Anyone planning on seeing it. I want to see it, cause the dog is so cute and I think the voice over is cute. I remember watching the homely looking original Underdog. I miss my pup so much.

Vegas, baby! Yeah, we spent the weekend there and the highlight of our trip was Love! The Mirage hosts a new show that far outweighs any other Cirque show in town! Take time to check out the following clip - and if you ever have the opportunity to see it, do it! ~ All You Need is Love~ It was so excellent, that nobody seemed to want to leave when the performance and bows ended! We had such a great time, that we are going to see it again next time we are in Vegas! I'm thinking October during the Age of Chivalry Ren Faire - any takers? We sat in the 2nd level and I think that there were no better seats in the house! WooHoo!

Right, here's the lay of it... with luck, we'll be moving into a "new" home in about three weeks time. One of the things that I like about the place is that the den is finished in a Tudor half-timber style, which is perfect! Why is it perfect, asks you? Because, says I, I've always wanted to have a pirate tavern in my basement, and now it looks like I'll be able to do just that. Soooo my question, esteemed pirate colleagues... does anyone have or know of plans on building a period style bar... with... BARS!?!?
