  7. Ok.. i know someone is going to say it's last year was not the first year.. The first few years The Pirate Festival was in Toronto and didn't do so well... more due to timing and location then the folks running it... So New people, new location... same name... great event!!!
  8. Fun event for the family..... We had arrr Pyrate Portrait booth along with Henna last year and did very well.. well attended for it's first year and likely much better this time around... If you have kiddos this is the pyrate event to take them to if you're in Toronto and the GTA.... Not sure if The Pyrates Image will be there this year with arr booth.. as we have the Great Lakes Pyrate Lore & Harbour Walks... but will at least try and at least drop by for a day....
  9. Have a GRAND time all.. sounds like fun.. i however have gone bust since having me time in New Orleans.. have to plunder some more galleons this comin' year to replenish me treasure chest....
  10. look forward to seeing pics.... yup.. know the cold.. we be about the same as Chi-Town during the winter... as we live in a Port City at the head of Lake Ontario.. so we get those brutal north west winds as well...
  11. Sounds like GREAT fun!!!! some very interesting talks and seminars to boot!!! would love to attend.. but the timing is a bit off... not really conducive to driving to Snowy Chi-Town in February from Snowy Ontario... Hope everyone has a wondrous time...
  12. Sounds like a wondrous thing ye be doin' fer the lad... if'n ye can send us his name and such we could add him as an honorary member of the Pyrates Union.. send him his very own card n' such... i know it be a bit late.. but like others i just found this here in the threads... perhaps ye could ask his parents to contact us through the Pyrates Union site and we'll get him set up... http:/pyratesunion.com look fo'ard te seein' the photos of th' lads B-Day... i'm sure h'll be right chuffed at what ye arr doin'...
  13. Ahoy all ye scurvy dogs n' th' like... Although we 'ave our own forum... on th' union site... I sees that some of us members often be here at th' pub... For those of ye who know not of our humble beginnings.. 'ere be the story!!! We now 'ave over 60 members cross th' globe..... We are the International Brotherhood Of Neutral Pyrates, aka The Pyrates Union A place where Pyrates can be Pyrates without conflict, back stabbing or general contempt. We be an easy going bunch who seek fun, frolic and a rum or two along the way. Despite any rumours, we LIKE to make friends with other Pyrates ...and remain...well...neutral, to all matters that be considered "Pyrate politics". Of course, it also means we will defend the honour of our honourable members! So climb aboard, grab a grog and set sail...there be places to see, Pyrates to meet and fun to be had! Beginnings: The IBONP was formed September 1, 2007 by three Pyrates - Capt. John Swallow, QM Seika Hellbound and the late Capt. Blackie*. It all grew out of a need for fair treatment of Pyrates, annoyance with some unprofessional behavior in the Pyrate community and the wish to create a focal point for all Pyrates to benefit from. We wished to avoid the "politics" that had seeped in to many a Pyrate crew and return to the true Pyrate ways of an equal share for all. Ye can visit th' site http://pyratesunion.com fer more info on th' crew... Fair Winds and a Tankard fer all!!!!
  14. Ahoy lass!

Could be days or weeks before ye come upon this note in a bottle. Regardless, fair thee well with yer Pyrate Week! Good on ya!
